Playing another round of catch-up

I've been faithfully taking photos for the online photography class that I was taking, but I've been a bad blogger and neglected to add them on here, so now it's time for a little game of catch-up!

 I just couldn't resist this one, even though the exposure is a little off.  Today I realized that Jamie had gone a little too quiet in the living room, and peeked in to find that she'd discovered a roll of paper towels I'd accidentally left on the floor.  She was in heaven unraveling every square inch and then ripping it apart.  This photo (I hope) simply captures her exuberance!

Day something or other....

Okay, I'm officially a very bad blogger!  But, after learning some stuff in a photography class I'm taking online at clickin mom.com, I'm now ready to post my latest photos.  These are all straight out of the camera (I'm very proud of that!).  As always, I'd love input!

Day 32 - Bubble bath!

Okay, so technically this is from last night, but I just had to put it on.  In advance, apologies for the poor quality!  The lighting in our bathroom turns all my photos very yellow, and I'm loathe to use the flash.  I am, however, determined to learn how to use my camera in order to get around this diliema next time.

Back to the bubble bath... mommy put in a little too much soap, so it was an explosion of bubbles like Jamie has never seen before.  I'm not too sure she really knew what to make of it all, we got a few smiles, but she seemed a little overwhelmed and didn't want to splash (like she usually does).

Day 31 - Photo shoot

I've had this adorable headband for a while, so today we took advantage of the sunlight, and did a little photo shoot!

Brian also picked up the camera, and took a shot of me with Jamie!  Yay!!

Day 30 - Little Bear goes for a Walk

It was chilly today, so Jamie was all bundled up in her bear outfit and we were about to go out for a walk when I looked at her, apologized to my partner, and pulled out my camera to snap a few shots....

Day 29 - Playtime

I took some photos the other night of cupcakes I was baking... it was a total fail (the photos, not the cupcakes).  So this morning I returned to my favorite, though active, subject.

 

This photo is completely unedited, but I wanted to show the new "play zone" that I've created in out living room.  Jamie's play zone takes up about a 1/3 of the room, and this is the new little corner where her exersaucer is... plus I've taken out my photo albums and cook books from the shelves and replaced them with Jamie's books and toys.
